Party at Virginia's View!

Not only is it Friday, but there's a Party going on
One can simply dance with JOY over the return of my favorite card challenge!
Even if it is for ONE time:))) I can always hope for more!

 Virginia is asking for
"miss you", "hello"...any types of friendship cards
to be added to the link-up on her challenge blog.

Here is my card:))

  • I followed the video tutorial shared on Jennifer McGuire's blog by the fabulous Marika on watercoloring the blooms from LACY SCROLLS stamp set with Zig markers.
  • After coloring the blooms and adding greenery my composition needed something light and airy.
  • In came this Discovery to use a small splotchy stamp from Birch Land to create LARKSPUR or DELPHINIUM type flowers.

I LOVE the result:))
And being the magpie that I am, I found some silver elastic thread...took the stretchy part out and used the shiny part for the "nest" behind the HELLO.

There you go!
HELLO Virginia! Your challenge has been terribly missed !
I have a feeling, however, that GREAT things are coming in your creative adventure, and I can't wait to see what it is:)))
Hugs

LauraJane:)

You must be so terribly proud of this stunning card!! I have just placed my first order with Altenew largely because of the delightful cards you have posted recently using their product! I can't wait to get inky with them.

This perfect card is nothing less than stunning !!

This is beautiful, LuaraJane! I had to come over to take a closer look at this beauty after I saw it on Instagram! Beautifully colored and arranged! Love the idea of the tiny delphinium flowers!

Stunning card, love the colour you used for the flower and that silver thread certainly finishes it off perfectly as does the little bit of wispy flower. Perfect

You are the SWEETEST! I am absolutely touched by your post. And I love how you were inspired. You really took it up a notch by using the smaller floral stamp for adding details! And wow...for that beady thingy/silver elastic thread....first time I see it used this way! Truly creative and original! So glad that you join the fun over Virginia’s View “Friendship” Challenge! :)
